LAWRENCE, Kan. -

The University of Kansas baseball team will hold open tryouts to fill the roster for the upcoming 2008 season. An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 28 in Hadl Auditorium at 4 p.m.

All interested persons should plan to attend this meeting with a proof of medical insurance, a recently completed physical (within the last six months) and a copy of their KU class schedule.

The Jayhawks will start their fall season with their first full practice on Sept. 19.
