2004 (RS): Redshirted... Worked as a member of the practice squad.

High School: Earned varsity letters in football, volleyball and track... Coached by Willie Matson... Recorded more than 90 knock-down blocks during his senior campaign including 18 in the game against Santana High... Was nominated to participate in the 2004 North vs. South Panos all-star classic... A two-time member of the San Diego Tribune's all-Academic team... Also participated on a Junior Olympic volleyball team which placed fifth nationally in 2002.
