2007 (So.): Played in all 13 games as a reserve defensive end... Recorded 12 tackles on the year... Nearly half of his stops were behind the line of scrimmage as he had five tackles for loss, including a team-best 3.5 sacks... His solo sacks came against Southeastern Louisiana, Toledo and Oklahoma State and his assist was against Florida International... Forced a fumble against Toledo... Recorded a safety on his sack against Southeastern Louisiana... Had a season-high four tackles in the game against Southeastern Louisiana... Had two stops against Toledo and Baylor.

2006 (Fr.): Earned the team's George Mrkonic Defensive Scout Player of the Year honor... Played in two games, appearing on special teams and as a linebacker... Recorded a solo tackle against Northwestern State and a quarterback hurry against Louisiana Monroe.

High School: An All-State Second Team selection at linebacker after his senior season... Also was named district Most Valuable Player and All-District First Team in 2005... Named All-District First Team as a junior in 2004... Collected 141 tackles, nine quarterback sacks and seven pass breakups in 2005... Coached in football by Scott Peach... Earned varsity letters in football and track.
