Kansas golfer Emily Powers cut three shots off her first-round score at the NCAA West Regional as she shot a 77 in the second round of the tournament on Friday. Three days after earning her way into the NCAA Regional as an individual, Kansas golfer Emily Powers was selected to the 2008 All-Big 12 Women's Golf Team it was announced on Friday. Powers, a sophomore from Quincy, Ill., was one of 10 players selected to the league team, which is picked by the conference coaches. (more)
